Best Mobile Antenna? (Mobile Beams?)
I am trying to find out what mobile anrenna is the best for both TX and RX. I have tried wilson 1000, firestick, skipshooter and a few other lesser knowns. So far I think the wilson is probably the best. If anyone knows of a better brand or model, please advise. Also, I am trying to find out about m...

I've already done the channel mod on the Maxon. I also clipped one led of the mod limiter transister, but it didn't seem to make a difference. I don't know how to supermod or loud mouth it, though. I would also like to know if it will take an echo board. My email is sunsetsuperman2112@yahoo.com

Supermod
I'm going to mod a Maxon Mcb 45W (if it will take any mods) and one of the new Cobra 29 LTD LT SE radios. I can't find much info on the Maxon and none on the Cobra. I would like to add echo boards to both. I know that different models of Cobra 29 take different mods and I would like to put an Expo c...

Supermod?(Loud Mouth)
Does anyone know what the website is that tells you step by step how to supermod a radio? I was on it once and didn't mark it, now I can't find it. I've been talking for years, but am just now trying to do my on work because the guy with the only shop in my area has retired and moved so, if I need s...

Maxon MCB 45 W
Does anyone know if a Maxon MCB 45W will take an echo board? These small radios have upper and lower channels already in them when new, all you have to do is move two solder bridges to "turn them on". They are great little radios that don't take up a lot of space. I am not sure how to tell...

Cobra 150 GTL DX
That's what I did and it transmits on all channels now. Also, if you don't have the surface mount resistor you took out to convert the radio, you can use a regular 1K ohm resistor. Be careful! The traces are very easy to overheat and lift on these boards!

Cobra 150GTL DX Ch. split?
Has anyone tried to "split" the two segments of 40 channels on each band? In other words, is it possible to take the second set of channels and hook them to a switch so that instead of wearing out the channel knob you can flip a "high -low" switch like on a Galaxy or Connex? I th...
