you still have to key up the mic to TX and the display says RX,could it still be a keying Diode?

Ok the radio has no RX nothing on the meter but TX is great,and also the weather board audio does work .Any Ideas what could be wrong?

From a Tech that I know he had a radio from their come in had the stickers on it not to open and all it is NPC mod and volted finals and limiters pulled,no big secret or great mod,all info is easy to get on the net to wack up your radio,lol
