I have been hearing people talk about the NPC mod. What is it, how do I do one on my 959 and what parts do I need?

I got my radio back from the shop, looks like I will be hooking it up after work.

Well due to my lousy results in modding myself, have seen some but not impressive, Im debating sending my radio to Radioactive radios for the super wack pack.
Any comments?
