My friend has a galaxy 88 ( that he got from me ) that works and looks like new, maybe a year old at the most. The trouble is that not long after he got it from me the freq display went nuts. Well the thing i have noticed is this. The 20 watt swing was mesuared with the meter set on pep. Changing it to AVE showed only about a half a watt forward swing. The key is really closer to 3 watts so it's only swinging forward just a half a watt. Thats why it's not driving the amp i'm sure.

Just take the duel final modification out and and put it back ( Single final ) to stock. If you have already spent all the cash in that one then why start over. On the other hand i have aways like the 29's myself. You can do just about anything to one!

I have a Grant Lt and also a junk General lee. Can the echo board be taken out of the Lee and installed into the Grant and if so could you provide info on how to do it. I can do most things when it comes to a CB radio but i have never done an echo board install. Thanks!
