I got a R.c.i.2950 dx from Copper ,It also came with the C.B.
channel chip not installed .Just like I ordered ,
I figered I had too set the power while I was doing the Claifier mod

Do you have a fuel pump relay on that Freight thing..? If so pull it while you have the radio on and engine running.. Dose the noise go away while you have the relay in your hand. adjust vr-6 , and vr-7 for the most modulation swing

Clip the modulator in your 29 ,add channels, Then unlock the,
Clarifier,on a s.s.b..this works.

Now on a WHIP you have a ball mount , under the mount on the inside attach the Ground too one of the 3- nuts & bolts ,use lock nuts ,no
lock washers (they loosen up) You want this permement..
The other end of the ground gose to frame.
then frame too neg battery...
