a friend brought me a midland 1001z mic with the cord pulled out of the plug and i cant seem to find a wiring diagram for this radio,can anyone help me out?,thanks in advance

im looking to just do a little tuning ,looks like i should spread L8 and tune L10 is that correct? thanks

im having trouble finding any mods for this ,is it the same as the 25 ltd classic?

on another note , is there a way to boost the receive or is that part of what I did?

the mod went well except the slug broke and I had to use a pick to spin the pieces out,but otherwise it works great.so far people say it is very clear and seems to have good power thanks again for your help

Thank you for the explanation,I have tuned 1 radio and everyone says it sounds very good,so now I will see if Im as successful (LUCKY) with my pc76xl,by the way the part I wasnt sure about was the 4 watt carrier part but now understand

Im new to modding what do you mean by tune for a 4 watt carrier

Anyone do this mod with mosfet 2030 and companion parts? Im going to try it but wanted to hear others opinions on it

well the tuning went fine but, the swing kit didnt seem to work,Im sure I must have done something wrong.I made sure that the negative leg was nearest the final and put the resistor on the other side.I took it off and put the jumper back on,it works but no swing kit

sorry for all the questionsbut, I cant find jp-17 or any jp-? but I can find jv-17 and it looks like a staple it is very close to the final,could that be where the cap and resistor go?

had to edit last post ,i had the final number wrong,sorry,this is all new to me and I just want to be sure before I try something,thanks for the help

is the 2sc1969 final a good mod also for this radio then tune L10 and spread L8 if not what would you recomend

i could only find 220 uf at 35v max would that work or should i look harder
