Well it turned out to be a dirty mode switch , Thanks.

This radio has been unused for many years, i hooked it up and it (TX) worked fine for for 1-2 min then the output dropped to about 1/2 watt or less, I,m guessing it may be bad caps??? any Ideas?

Can anyone tell me what the diffrence is between the 2 button under channel selector unit and the 3 button unit President not the Uniden..??

I have a CPI.....CP300, twin channel selector, works ok but SSB a bit low..?????

I beleve it is the Mk1...this is a very common radio in Australia....Ok.. Replacing the audio chip got the audio working.. but RX on SSB is very low also on SSB TX.. but all good on AM....??????????????

It is the common single board. 02A SSB... TP-DN60-HB is all i could see on it.

Hi i am about to do same thing, Also after manual.

Does SSB use audio chip as i have no modulation on SSB, audio RX or TX..?

I have removed a 40 switch to place into an old 23, but i must of got the wires on the wrong pins as it dont work now, does anyone know the correct pin-color wire line up? all i need is a left to right color wire order. Also what color is ?KC...? but still need pin-wire order on Ch switch.... Thank...

I have a CP 300 & i wish to add the 40 (+) channels so its a CP 400, dones anyone know how its done??? OR any Info, paperwork, manuals.... Thanks Phil
