Re: new with questions....
You mentioned you are using a t-connector. That might be the problem. Set the t-connector aside and try each antenna seperately and directly to the radio for an SWR reading. If you are able to tune each antenna this way for a decent SWR reading, then you might want to use a co-phase system that has ...

Re: FINAL SWAP
I replaced sd1446 finals w/ 2sc2290's in an old Galaxy linear. I found the upgrade/ replacement info in a pamphlet from RF parts and it worked very well. They stressed the importance of using 2 beta-matched finals together rather than randomly picking a couple of the same make/model.

Re: MAGNUM MINI MAG
I would like to know which jumpers you removed to get it to 11 meters. I think I will be getting one of the 15 watt versions in the mail very soon and since they are a fairly new radio, I haven't found much info on them yet. Any help w/ this is greatly appreciated.

Blown Final side-effects?
I have a 2950 pre-DX. I saw one of the finals had a hole melted in it but the radio still worked. One day I had no transmit, no recieve, and dim lights. Is this all a result of the final finally giving out, or did I fry other stuff by letting the problem go? Any input or theories are very welcomed. ...

Re: Cobra 148 GTL: Unlocking the Clarifier
I like the clarifier to slide further than 6 kz because then I can get to the "A" channels between 3&4, 7&8, 11&12, and 19&20. JMO.
