Receives well on up close stations. Radio on with volume all the way up noise blanker and anl off ext speaker plugged in rf gain and squelch set for maximum sound can barely hear noise.

try checking the wire that runs to the coax connector on the back of the radio it may be broke loose at the connector or the board the board is sometimes the hardest to see good luck

a guy brought me a uniden washington with an echo board in it just to check it out when i opened the case i found a 3-position switch inside the echo board had robot and v.c. but the v.c. dont work any ideas or is it best to leave alone? thanks

i recently installed two of these in cobra 29's one works fine all the time, the other works fine if the truck it is in is not running if you start the truck the beeps run fast and higher pitch and somewhat distorted any ideas to fix the problem would be appriciated
