Cobra 29 LTD, does not transmit channels 1 thru 7, all others are ok. This is the older 29 with the mic plug on the side, anyone have any idea's?

Perry I know I maybe alittle late here since you have sold the radio, but I have had a problem with the recieve on a new 29 ltd also. It turned to be R-31 is suppose to be 47k 1/6W and it was opened to 137k had very little recieve. I changed it to a 47k 1/2W and it worked fine, I think the 1/6 watt ...

I need help, the radio transmits on LSB & USB but not AM Mode, I have checked some cap and diodes near VR10 am I in the right area?
