hi all i have a cpi 300 cb thats missing its power lead, on the back of the radio it has a 6 pin socket for the power lead to plug into. what i need to know is what pin is positive and which one is negitive so i can make up a new power lead so i can fire it up again. a picture or sketch of the back of the radio right side up with the pins marked would be most helpful. thanks for any help.

Hi,
Open up the radio, and you may see the colour of the wires going to the socket.
Or you can find the pins you need easily with a continuity tester:
1, turn power switch of radio on
2, connect one test lead to switch contact
3, probe the pins on the power socket with the other test lead
4, when you get a dead short showing on tester, thats the positive (red wire) connection
5, then put one test lead on the metal case of the radio, and do the same.
6, when you get a dead short, that'll be the negative (black wire) connection.
Hope this helps.
