Cpu Prom UC-1201A
Test gear available:Freq,counter,Volt/amp meter,Funk gen,sinad meter,Fm dev/Mod/Watt meter,Dummyload.
Symptoms:No reading on the display it's total blank,No TX,No bleep when push buttons,Can not change freq.
What is working:Normal radio noise on Cw Lsb Usb Am Fm,RIT is working,Squelch is working
What has been tried:Replaced 1000uf 6,3 V condensor,Replaced 7805,Shift J301 and J307.
Did it suddenly happen ?:No after replaced all the 10V condensor on the main board i connected the Pll board and I mixed up by mistake the J301 and J307.
Anything else that may be of help?: The condensator1000uF 6.3 V, became very hot and started to swell like a balloon.The ceramic disk cond,on the top of the UC-1201A became
very hot,No voltage from the 7805 ok after replace

Could it be the IC UC-1201A that is gone or the IC 316?
