Talkback for Cobra 29 Classic

Post by gundoctor »

Sorry if this has been asked elsewhere, I looked but didn't find it.

I want to know how to give a new Cobra 29 LTD Classic NW (no soundtracker) talkback.

Thanks

An adjustable talkback can be added to most electronic switching CB radios by soldering a 100 ohm pot in series with a 27 ohm resistor between the "Ext Spkr" jack ground terminal & the "PA Spkr" jack ground terminal. You can also do this with a switch to turn it on and off.

You can ground the positive side of the speaker to the chassis also. Use a 100 onm potentiometer in line so it has volume adjustment.
