cobra 140 gtl

I have a cobra 140 gtl (same as a cobr 142 gtl) my meter doesn't deflect on transmit or receive. the meter checked ok, i used it in another radio.my radio works fine
in all modes,can anyone please tell me that to change to get the meter working. I would greatly appreciated, thank you galaxy

Check the Ground side of the meter it is the only common point.

thank you, Rick for your reply. I try that checking the ground side to the pcb,I also put in a new meter. Still I can't get the meter to work. Do you have any other suggestion. thank you galaxy

Check there is not an open circuit between the sig/rf meter and R203. If you check out the circuit diagram you will see that the only common connection to the sig/rf meter is ground, and check you have the wires on the meter the right way round.
