hello i am looking for the band expand mod / 5kc slider alinement guide as long as are confirmed to work for a

RADIO = courier spartin pll
CHIP = d858

or even info where i can take my radio in melboure to get it done saince i only just got back into radio thank you for any help and thank you for your time

i am shore thats the wrong mod considering saince nothing even comes close to R119 but thanks anyways

Basically most 858 chassis are the same it may have difference component number. Do you have a schematic diagram it would help me work out what you need do. If you do PM me your email address.

thats one of the problems i have thats its hard to get any real info on this model the base board is marked PC-159AA

With the PC159AA it most likely made by Uniden.
If it was my radio I would just draw at the circuit around the xtals and clarifier or even the full radio if you are planning on keeping the radio. I have drawn lots diagrams in the past where the diagram has not available. Have you tried looking through the diagrams on www.cbtricks.com as you may find a radio with the same PCB it?s not uncommon for Uniden to supply the same PCB to lot of different manufactures.

Treat as http://www.radiomods.co.nz/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1202 except that R119 is R61 in your radio and D30 is D24 in your radio. Hope this helps.

dono i have had a look prolly under the earthed cradle that the pll is siting in above the main board i might just go send it to nsw to get the digi scan stuck on it saince i cant find nuthing confirmed on it kinda strange becouse its a good radio with heaps of grunt in all the right places anyways thx for your help
