i was wondering now if someone could tell me where the pin 14 on the pll chip is, the front or back of the radio, i would like to try the recieve boost mod.
also after doing the swing mod, i can adjust it from 0 to 8 watts dead key and will swing to 20 watts, when i change the final and do the super tune mod how much more can i expect?
is it worth doing the super tune mod, i really would like to try it!

Do every power mod you can think of. I've gotten 52 watts out of a 29 before. But I really strectched it's lips. Just for fun though. Probably had 10 hours in it.
The way you can tell which pin is which on an IC is simple.
On one end of the chip there is a notch. So make the orientation of the chip so the notch is at the top with the legs comming down the side left and right.
Start counting down from the left to the right. like the letter U
u
1----16
2----15
3----14
4----13
5----12
6----11
7----10
8----9
Pretty easy
