hi there, well as far as the mobile radio, thats no problem.all you will need is a 13.8 volt dc power supply.you can get one of these at your local radio shack.for just a stock 40 channel cb mobile, all youll need is about a 3.0-3.5 amp 13.8 volt dc power supply.if you have a export radio through,id suggest at least about a 10 amp 13.8 volt dc power supply.but as far as the antenna, thats a little tricky.you see when your 102 inch whip is on your vehicle, the body of the vehicle becomes your radiation ground.or your ground plane.ive tryed this before, when i first started in cb.if you just install your 102 inch whip on a pole, you dont have enough radiation ground.therefore your s.w.r.s run alittle high.and its pretty much impossible to get them below a 3 s.w.r..the only thing that might work,is if you have a trailer,or metal building you can mount your antenna pole and whip too.by using a metal bracket and getting it tight against the metal of the buildng.then that might work o.k. seeing the building would be your radaition ground.you could try that, and se if the s.w.r.s would come down.id would try to get them at least 2.0 or less.if you try to run it with a 3.0 s.w.r. or greater,it could burn up the final in your radio.another thing to remember,a mobile cb antenna, such as the 102 inch steel whip.you only get out of it what you put in it,as far as power multipulcation.just 1 for 1.and a true base antenna you get more power multipulcation out of it.i think the antron 99 has about a 9 to 1 mutipulcation.thats what id do if it was me.id get me a 13.8 volt power supply to run my mobile radio.and get me an antron 99 base antenna, put in on a push-up pole about 30-40 feet high.and youll be talking great........ramblingman

Make a di-pole!

Coax, and two pieces of wire 103 inches long, minus 3% to be axact.

102" 102"

Coax feed point

One wire goes to the center conductor of the coax, the other wire connect to the shielding of the coax.

Well as usual making simple diagrams doesn't work on forums like this.
