connex 3300hp help please

my 3300hp is fine on some bands and then you go to channel 9 and it is on channel 22 and if you turn the power off and turn it back on it is back to channel 9 until you change the channel then it will be on channel 22 again on channel 9 can anyone help please thanks for any and all help

hi there,try resoldering the two legs of the 10.240 mhz crystal.i had one one time,doing the same thing,and it was a poor solder joint connection on the 10.240 mhz crystal......good luck.........ramblingman

It sound like the the VCO is on the edge. Try re-aligning the PLL section. Let us know how you get on.

Have You done a full re-aligning the PLL section?

What is the voltage at TP2 with out the fault? and what is the voltage with the fault?
