How can I install lower band in cobra 29?

Post by YosemitySam »

I know you can buy a kit to get uppers and lowers. But, I'm just curious if anyone would know how to build a kit that will get just the lower band. I think it can be done with a crystal and a few passives. But, I could be beating at the air too. I'm sure someone knows all the theroy and technical gargen. But, I need it simple. I find that theroy and tech helps. But, hand's on does me alot of good. Cause, I'm a slow learner. Lower 19, 26.735 is used alot in the USA by more curtious truckdrivers who don't care to hear all the foul and fun. THanks fella's!![/img]

You will need to build an External loop oscillator to obtain low band (26.515 to 26.955) see diagram. If you need any more info let me know.
