Post by lemans66 »

I have a older galaxy saturn that ovemodulates so bad that I have to turn the mike gain almost off and it still sounds bad.I think somebody removed the mod limiter.I would like to replace it but I dont know what to replace it with. Thanks

hello there,,and welcome to the forum..tr-32 is the amc shunt,,,and tr-53 is the amc amp,,,they are both 2sc-945p transistors....depending on which transistor was pulled...some remove tr-32,,and some remove tr-53...i is better not to remove either one...but if i was gonna remove one,,take out tr-53...removing tr-32 tends to make the audio sound hollow sounding...but like i said it is best to leave both intact,,and just adjust vr-14 which is the amc adjustment, fully clockwise..then adjust vr-13 which is your am power adjust,,for 2 watts deadkey...this should sound good......ramblingman
