audio mod for galaxy 2527 (2980) rci board

i am looking for any audio mod for this board (same as 2950 with little vary. i do know there is a power mod but i dont need it. i run radio at less than 2 watts and drive it into a small 2 pill(homemade). i was wondering if any one has done one if it worked or not. i make alot of dx audio monsters with the very easy mod'ed galaxy board and cobra radios (i.e super stars connex and so on) and i have also done alot of 2950"s but never audio mod'ed them do to the owners were always ssb talkers and pulling a clipper is not an option i thank youu for any info that can be provided if any at all ( my locals say i am loud as a bastered but you can never have to much aduio and i can keep it clean to thx again waving 4 and 1

if your radio uses the ept690010z pc board,,the superswing is achieved by removing the right leg of r264 and putting a 1n4001 diode in series with this resistor..make sure the cathode end of the diode is installed in hole where resistor was removed,then solder anode of diode to the loose end of the resistor..adjust vr-16 fully clockwise this is the amc adjustment.vr-14 is your power adjustment,adjust for about 2 watts dead key,and let er swang from there..you can also lift the emmiter leg of q39 which is the modulation limiter and put a 1 k resistor in series with emitter leg of q39/tr-39 ..but if you use ssb allot sometimes this causes audio to be allittle garbled on ssb....but dont let nobody talk you into to doing the 24 volt mod...most parts are only rated at 10-16 vdc,,and the finals are a max of 20 vdc..ive seen it fry to many finals...some call it a bottle-rocket mod....when you see the output on the watt meter you say ooh ahhhh,,,then in about couple weeks of uses its awww man,,my finals just fryed....................

ramblingman, thanks for the advice it has the ept 295013z i do belive off the top of my head. i actually got fed up with looking for the mod so i broke out the old equipment and started probing. and i found two ways of achiving the forward swing i was looking for with out any overload to the board. i have never seen this mod out there so i will run it for a while and see how it goes, 1/8 watt dead key with full forward swing in to a 2 pill driving klv 1000p works beautifull so far,,,,
