the info on the bord is as follows

cobra gr25/29 ltd st

the pa is working and it lights up ok the tx rx light is working ok

there is no receive
no tx as in no power out put at all

there is 2 bad caps c212 and c218 think it has had 24 volts throw it or reversed power

any one got any ideas thanks

Try replacing the AF Amp, and check all the diodes as the diodes are known to give trouble in this radio when it has been zapped.
