hi all. need some help with a newly accuired radio. no transmit and i found res.#56 burned. i cant identify the other part ,i believe its a transistor.its attached to the heat sink but the markings are burned. i have the service book but cant seem to find part #s.thanks,in advance. great forum !

IF YOU LOOKING AT THE RADIO ON THE HEATSINK IS IT THE ONE THAT FACES THE FRONT OF THE RADIO OR THE ONE FACING THE BACK

2sc2078 is the final number..or if you can get one a 2sc1969 would be better....

rf part out of calf. has them at a good price..only thing they have a 25.00 minimum...check out the techs special..i think they have a pack of five for like 15 bucks..i always just buy up 50 bucks worth or so of parts..you know youll need them sooner or later..if you work on radios alot that is...
