ok, I just wanted to narrow that down. I myself don't know the problem, and it might be a multitude of things. I'm sure someone will come along with better help

The fault you have is it low audio volume or low RX? Is the S/Meter showing a good signal?
What is the PCB number?
Rick.

Is the RF Gain working? if not try replacing D15 and D16, there diodes must be the right ones, they are 1SS53 it would also be an idea to change TR17 2SC1674.

If the RF Gain is working, try replacing D23 and D24, they are 1N60.
