cobra 29 ltd ST 80 channel using pll LC72322N

there is on mob done the problem is the rx is very poor i can receive things close to me but any thing more than 2 miles the receive is very poor

every thing sounds off frequency

i have had my frequency counter on and seems to be ok on tx

i have no experience on the rx side of things so any help will be usefull

Have you adjusted the FM discriminator coil to try to inprove the receive ?, if it's not adjusted correct everyone will sound off frequency.
I don't know the coil number in that radio before you ask.
