Hi all,
Over here in Oz there is a loosely defined system of channel usage:

1-7: General AM
8: Truckies
9: Emergency
10: General AM
11: AM call channel
12-15 General AM
16 LSB: SSB call channel
17-34: General SSB
35 LSB: Secondary SSB call channel
36-40: General SSB

Question: Does a similar scheme exist over there in New Zealand?
If so, can someone fill me in on the channel usage over there?

Cheers from Oz!

As a rule:
Ch 11 is the truck drivers channel.
Ch 15 is the Emergency Calling Channel.
Ch 19 is the AM Calling Channel in some areas.
Ch 25 is the lower limit of the SSB part of the band.
Ch 35 is the SSB Calling Channel (USB).
