New to cb's. Recently purchased a Pace 8046 from ebay was told everything works fine. Get package home and hook it all up. Eveything turns on, turn the channels no sounds. Meter on CB moving indicating rx tx still no sound. Connect to extension speaker still no sound. any ideas?

don't no what a PLL # is

The mic can be the problem. The external speaker jack can be the problem. When you transmit, is there modulation? If not it's the audio chip or in case of 2 transistors one will be bad.

Check the volume control it's is a weak point in this radio.
