I have a 29 classic made in 92. The transmit works great but i get no receive audio from the internal speaker. If i plug in the external speaker into the EX SP jack i can hear fine. I have tried a different internal speaker, checked for cold solder joints and everything seems fine. Anyone have an idea about this one?
Thanks!

more than likely the plug in the back of the radio is bad.when you pull the external speaker plug out there is a small piece of metal that slips back in place to complete the speaker circuit so the internal will work.it is probably bent just enough that it is not connecting up.you may be able to push it back into place.sometimes it is worn enough that I have had to change the plug out in the radio.
