I am new in radio mods and I'm doing very well as my local shop is double checking my work behind me and insuring I am doing things right.
the problem I am having is I am going to a friends house and using his base station antenna to do my mods. I am wondering what would benifit me at home buying a base station antenna or a dummy load?

A dummy load is normal used in conjunction with a power meter and other test equipment for bench work.
Where antenna is normal used to do an on air test or a chit chat.

Thanks Rick I'll get both then because I have a rolling desk for my bench work and a dummy load would allow me to move around.

Rick you seem to be the only one answering post anymore I guess that makes you the Guru od sorts... Thanks again
