D104 mic needs power, plz help?

Post by YosemitySam »

I have a D104 Lollipop mic. It only has three wires in it. I have it wired for a Galaxy dx2547 works ok. But I need more Modulation from the mic. Anyone know how to turn it into a V-power mic?

I'm assuming iyours is a non powered D104... I would search ebay for a cheap power D104 that looks bad or is missing the top, etc... ( they can be had for as little as 10~20 bucks...
Then take the wiring and amp board and install in your D104. (Make sure the crystal element is in good shape and not dented!)

Those are awesome mics, I have 3 , a standard TUG and a silver and Gold Eagle edition...

The mic is just bone stock D104. Thanks for the info I have other power mics and they work well. But, I just like to tinker, and, learn differant things. Hands on really helps and playing with this stuff. So, if anyone has any info how to build one, that would be great. Thanks for the reply, RedEye!!!
