I have a connex 3300 main board #ept360014b that squeals when i turn the volume up i can turn the rf gain back to get it to stop but this limits the receive range also it is worse on some channels than others also it will stop squealing if i turn the nb/anl on or off. some channels it must be on to stop it from squealing and on some other channels it must be tunred off. Thanks for any info.

Try replacing D23 and D24, they are 1N60, if this is not the cure then check TR 17, TR23, and D15.16.
