I done the ERF 2030 mod, and when I powered it up it killed the power. I know I ended up grounding a solder trace, and I uninstalled the kit. I need to know where, and what I need to replace to get power back to the board. Thank you.

First thing to check is the fuse which i am sure you already have if the radio keeps blowing fuse check D93 to make sure it is not shorted if this checks OK i would check TR41 this supplies power to the front of the radio the volts should be B.12.4v, C.8.53v, E13.16v hope this helps.

Marvin i forgot to mention L503 choke that runs from power plug to the board check to make sure it is not burnt and is making connection to the board hope i am not confusing you. maybe one of the things i mentioned will help fix things let me know if this helps. Thanks

Thanks for the help Joe. I did check the fuse on the pos, but neglected to look at the one on the neg. That was it. Thank you again for your help.

Try removing the mirror board as you may have a short in the PA stage.
