I have a connex 3300hp, it is transmitting fine and modulating. It shows recieve on the meter however it does now have any talkback or recieve volume at ll in the exteranal or internal speaker. The P.A. does work. Anyone know what components i can check? I have looked the board over for bad spots or cold solder joints...[/b]

Check TR42 it maybe open circuit, also check for cold solder joints around around TR42.

i had the same problem...ended up being the lil plug that the speaker wires plug into...had to remove it, and i just soldered the wires to the the remaining pins

I have an older 3300 (not HP) with echo.
The echo has to be on for the talkback to work.
