HI, I am new to this Forum, But not new to CB, I was just wondering if anyone knew how to, or if it can be done, hard wire a Frequency counter into a older President washington?

Welcome to the forum Skybolt,
What PLL has it got in that radio, and have you got the board number ?.
With the correct numbers for both you'll get the right mods for your radio
the first time.

hey zodiac i have a washington with the mb8719 and the board is the pc-385. i was wondering if it could be hardwired to it

I think it can and I've seen it on one of the CB forums but i can't remember what forum it was on. It's about a year ago now so you'll have to go back through the posts to find it, it might even have been on this forum i don't know. You have to re wire something inside the counter first though to use it with a radio that has the 7.8mhz crystal fitted in them like your radio has.

sorry I havent replied sooner, lost my computer big crash, but any ways it is the president washington 858 chip and where do you find the board Number?
