I have just bought a danita 3000 ,80 channel CB....It was working fine for a few weeks but now it won`t transmit....I key the mike the `RX` changes to `TX` but the signal meter doesn`t go up an no power is transmitted....anyone any ideas

Can you hear a transmitted signal on a nearby radio?

OK, let me see if I have a schematic.

EDIT: I thought that perhaps I had the schematic somewhere, but I don't. I also just checked on cbtricks and there is no schematic also.

Well, one thing I would do is take some kind of insulated object, and press around on the bottom of the circuit board and see if this is related to bad soldering. Pay close attention to parts that are bolted to the sides of the radio, because these seem to be among the first to give under stress,
Hopefully someone in here will have a schematic if the above don't help.
