I have a Cobra 29 wx nw st and no sound rx or tx.
My needle on the radio meter and the Dosey inline meter don't move
when rx or xt.
No squelch.
When in weather mode it rx loud and clear.
Could it be my final?
How do ya check a final?

If you have no recieve and no transmit, then the final is not the problem. I would check for bad solder connections in PLL VCO sections, we can then proceed from there.
