I am looking for a driver for my Cobra 29 wx nw st.
The number is 2sc2314 is the one that came out.
I was told that the older ones had 2sc1957 in them.
Any idea where I can get one or if I can substitute with something else.

In addition to those 3, you can also use a 2SC2028, that gives you 4 different choices and any of them will work fine, you may find one in a junk CB somewhere. Rf Parts should stock any of those.
