I know this is a long-shot, but im letting my friend borrow my spare cobra 19 but I wanted to pick up the mic gain a bit because it's so weak. I don't have a power mic for him, and i've already opened up the modulation.
If anyone knows where i can find the mic audio circuit and more specifically a limiting resistor, please let me know.
Please don't tell me to get a better radio because this radio is junk. I know it's junk, but im letting a friend use it who is interested in getting into the hobby.

One man it works great. I run It on a 6to7,they say I'm loud.
It even has a little blue clear lite in it, $20.00
I tried one from Cobra it was too much mic for it..
