Cobra 18 WX ST II How do I Lower the Dead Keying

I am extremely new to the CB world and I apologize for that.
But I just bought the Cobra 18 WX ST II and I had the shop Tweak and Tune it. I am now trying to add a Amp to my radio and the place that I am getting it from won't re tune the radio. So I need to figure out how to Lower the Dead Keying as so I won't ruin the AMP. Any help would great be appreciated. Hopefully I won't need any special tools!!
