What has been tried: isolate to board from mic plug

Did it suddenly happen ?: not sure
Anything else that may be of help?: radio hung in tx just like ptt is depressed

there are 3 possible causes, listed in likelyhood of failure.

C33 (10uF 16V), TR35 (2SC945), IC4 (MB3756)

it was the ic, thanks for the help now ill move on to the weak receive and frequency counter. Transmit works great now...
