Great to Find this Forum and a question

I stumbled upon this forum accidentally while doing a Google search for CB. I have been out of CB for many years, originally got into it in the early seventies. My first radio was a Lafayette 23 channel mobile, I remember they peaked and tuned the radio right in the store while I waited, and imagine this, at no charge. Lafayette was a radio store located in downtown Detroit and they had a few suburban locations. Anyway long story short I'm really glad I found this forum and the link to One Stop.
I am currently bidding on several Cobra 2000 GTL base units, before you tell me that their junk hear me out. I wanted one of these years ago but could never afford one. I have been on a CB shopping spree here lately and purchased a Royce 625 base a Montgomery Wards 702A a Navaho base and various assorted odds and ends. I hope to get my Ham license one day soon but will never give up CB, well enough about me and my CB walk down memory lane.
Now a question, does anyone know who made the Montgomery Wards 702A for them ? someone suggested Cobra but I don't think so. This unit is in perfect condition including the clock and alarm etc. It has a four pin mike but it has no owners manual. If anyone could tell me if this is compatible with the Cobra 4 pin mikes then my microphone upgrade adventure will go into full swing. Thanks again for the great forum.
BTW I am a web designer and would be happy to help with graphics, avatars, signatures for members at no charge.
73's and thanks for keeping CB alive for the old timers like me.
