1. Set to Ch. 1, Band MID, Mode RX.
2. Connect DC Voltmeter to TP1 (Lead of R72). Adjust L17 for 1.2V (+/-0.1V).

1. Set to Ch. 19, Band MID, Vol. MAX, Sq. MIN, AM.
2. Connect SSG to ANT. Connect AC Voltmeter to Speaker Jack. Adjust L7, L6, L5, L4, and L1 for maximum reading on Voltmeter.

1. Set to Ch. 1, Band LOW, Vol. MAX, Sq. MIN, AM.
2. Adjust L2 for maximum output of noise level.
3. Set to Ch. 40 and repeat the adjust using L3.
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 until noise level is the same for both ends of the band.

1. Set to Ch. 19, Band MID, Vol. MAX, Sq. MAX, AM.
2. Set the output level of SSG to 1000uV. Adjust VR2 for 2V output reading on AC Volt meter.

1. Set to Ch. 19, Band MID, Vol. MAX, Sq. MAX, AM.
2. Set the output level of SSG to 100uV. Adjust VR1 so that the needle on the meter shows "S-9".

1. Set to Ch. 19, Band MID, Vol. MAX, Sq. MAX, FM.
2. Adjust VOL to obtain 2V output on AC Voltmeter. Set the level of SSG to 1000uV. Adjust L801 for maximum reading on Voltmeter.

1. Set to Ch. 19, Band MID, Vol. MAX, Sq. MAX, AM, Power MAX.
2. Turn L18 down to end. Connect oscilloscope to TP2 (lead of R79). Adjust L18, L19, and L20 for MAX reading on scope.

1. Set to Ch. 19, Band MID, Vol. MAX, Sq. MAX, AM, Power MAX.
2. Connect RF Power Meter to Antenna jack. Adjust L20, L15, and L14 for maximum RF output on power meter.

1. Set to Ch. 1, 40, Band LOW, HI, Vol. MAX, Sq. MAX, AM, Power MAX.
2. Adjust L11 for minimum difference between (Band LOW, CH. 1) and (Band HI, CH. 40).

1. Set to Ch. 19, Band MID, Vol. MAX, Sq. MAX, AM, Power LOW.
2. Adjust VR501 so that RF output level is over 1.5V and under 4.0V in every channel.

1. Set to Ch. 1, Band MID, Vol. MAX, Sq. MAX, FM,¯ Power LOW.
2. Connect Deviation Meter to Ant jack. Connect AF Oscillator to MIC JACK.
3. Set AF OSC to 30mV and adjust VR801 for 4kHz deviation.

1. Set to Ch. 1, Band MID, Vol. MAX, Sq. MAX, FM,¯ Power LOW
2. Connect Frequency counter to Ant. Jack. Adjust VC1 for 27.185MHz on frequency counter.

ADD A 1 KOhm RESISTOR ON TO ONE OF THE LEGS !
