Modifications

Remove the bottom cover and look towards of the front panel of the radio, you will see a plug (it is usually black) and it is at the very front, take it off and move it back 1 pin so that instead of it being on pin's 1 and 2 it will be on pins 2 and 3.

This will give you 6 bands of 40 channels C band is the normal CB band.
