This page describes how to add more bands of channels to the

Pearce Simpson Super Cougar MKII

This set needs to have a crystal oscillator board installed to be able to expand its abilities

You can build my oscillator board and then add my crystal switch to allow for added expansion

Cut the track between T6 and C12 then attach the output of the oscillator board to the C12 side of the cut, use a 10.240 Mhz crystal to get the standard band, add or subtract 450 Khz for a band either side

i.e.

Low band = 9.790 Mhz

High band = 10.690 Mhz
