Just in case anyone else has or finds one of these old Couier Spartans this one does have the UPD858 and the adjustments for power,ssb and mod are as Scott said in his reply. For an old radio they kick some serious butt. Better than alot of newer ones.

Hello, I have the radio discribed. Someone has tweaked it prior to me getting it and I would like to turn the power down a little. The board on this site and the board in the unit are not the same but the power and other adjustments are not the same as I was told. I don't know which board it has for...
