Hi Zodiac and any other techs watching, a mate of mine from years ago in the UK as a radio engineer, says that "They don't use ROMs but PLL synthesiser ICs. Not usually pin for pin compatible, but I guess it is possible to put multiband PLLs in place of the fixed PLLs..." any comments anyo...
