Ham Intl. tuning prob

Post by yazzo »

Radio Make and Model: Ham International Concorde II
PCB Number: PTBM121
PLL Number:
Test gear available: Freq counter
Symptoms: Mid band cannot be tuned correctly, CT2 will go 20.327-20.328 MHz

What is working: Lo and Hi band can be tuned normally

What has been tried: Changed Mid band crystal to Lo band slot and did the same thing there

Did it suddenly happen ?: Worked fine 2 months ago, has been powered off and now it doesn't
Anything else that may be of help?:

It sounds like the Mid band crystal has had it's day and needs replacing, what frequency is on it as I might have one.
How far is it.
Twice it's length from halfway.
