modification for more power.

i have a new cobra 29 wx,nw,st,sound tracker and i want more power. like tim the tool man taylor. i was told it was easy but not clear on it.
equalizer3@hotmail.com maybe a good power mike would be better huh. and what kind would fit? i have a mobile fire stik 11 i have with the mount it goes with it. i have the swr calibrated just rite also. but like to have more power. thanks.

hi there,soup it up,soup it up..id put me a large final in that baby.and also put me a swing kit,real simple all youll need is a 220 mfd 25 volt capacitor and a 100 ohm resistor,add a few more small caps to certain spot on the board,clip a diode,and tune a couple pots ...... then youll be hammering down.......also get you a better antenna....go wilson man go wilson..they are the best,i my opion........i run a wilson 1000 myself,and it will dx with the best.......my mobile rig/uniden radio/fatboy 500 amp/wilson 1000 and hammering down.........take care your friend in the mag....ramblingman/259
