On that radio you should be able to run high power with no problems with that linear. I think the deadkey is around 6 watts or so. Unless it is a 3300hp then you can set it to 10 watts deadkey but you have to replace R178 with a 1K resistor and set VR13 for no more than 10 watts or you can damage you finals. If it is not an hp i have upgraded a few bipolar radios to mosfet with great success. I have been getting around 60 watts or more from these with mosfet upgrades.
