i have a sommerkamp ts 2000dx the transmit comes and goes will work for a couple days then quit tx on am will tx on ssb but way off frq. its working now(knock on wood) after i found astatic wiring guide i had wired for rci 2950
as i was informed they use same board but the wiring according to astatic was different so i wired it up the way they said and its been 3 days working could the improper wiring have caused problem. If not any suggestions, its only had 1 persons hands in it since it left factory. Unfortunitely my tech is retired and sommerkamp is not radio i want to learn on its baby please any help would be great.

of course mic wiring had nothing to do with problem. didnt think so but was hopeful, it quit again, ive searched this radio twice since last post and no bad solder joints.
